5 stars (Stays with you) - This book is one of those little gems that will stay with you for years. I find myself thinking about the ideas and stories in this book several times a year, and I use the title in conversation quite frequently. A must read. 3 stars (OK, but overpriced) - An "interesting" idea of teaching adults by anecdotes and fairy tales... I don't want to be too harsh but I find this book overpriced. I find "Why Some Cats are Rascals" much more interesting. It's loaded with positive energy that bears some traces of influence by writings of David R. Hawkins, the author of "Power vs. Force." It is also much cheaper. 5 stars (This book is worth every penny!!!) - This was an excellent book. A small book with a big message. It helped me to pay close attention to my attempts to avoid change. I have learned through this book that it is just better to accept change and move forward. They also have a kids edition which I will definitely be purchasing for my daughter. As I said, this book is worth every penny. ... 5 stars (Great writing team) - Once again Jacobsen and Sheehan have outdone themselves writing a book about their love of the game and the great stories that have ensued from the fairways worldwide... I laughed until I cried and am going to pass the book on to my friends in the dental society (and huge golf fans) in golf course mecca in Central Oregon.. 5 stars (Jake does it again) - Peter Jacobsen returns from a decade-plus absence with a book that is better than his first effort - and that's saying something. "Embedded Balls" includes a look at what is wrong with the Tour today and how to fix it. Along the way, you will laugh out loud and get an insiders look at many characters on the Tour. ... 5 stars (Good stuff!) - I tried out a couple opf recipes - they range from easy to lengthy. The time estimates for the recipes are on the low side. Probably correct if you have an entire kitchen full of trained staff. Other than that the recipes are awesome. I didn't think that my schedule permitted me to cook like this. 5 stars (great food for athletes) - We've had the book for a few weeks now and have sampled some recipes. Not only is the food good, but the preparation is easy and it doesn't have expensive "exotic" ingredients that make cooking at home more trouble than its worth. I was a little wary of the way the plan/meals were broken down, but after reading the text (there's a lot), it was well-explained and made sense for both athletes and folks just looking for healthy food choices in a busy lifestyle. I own all the Carmichael books and think they're very helpful and informative for cyclists and general athletes. 2 stars (Impractical ) - I was disappointed in the cookbook. We are not gourmet cooks. I assume many of the recipes are from the restaurant the chef runs. I was looking for a down-to-earth guide to nutrition for an amateur triathlete. Sorry Chris I like your other books but not this one. Can I get a refund? ...
